Two ballot initiatives would force schools to out LGBTQ+ students, mandate invasive genital exams for girls in sports, and restrict students' access to help. We're building the coalition to defeat them.

2026 Priority Campaign
Two ballot initiatives targeting Washington students are on the 2026 ballot. IL26-001 would force schools to out LGBTQ+ students and restrict access to counselors. IL26-638 would mandate invasive genital exams for girls in school sports.
A coalition led by Gender Justice League, SEIU 775, ACLU-WA, WEA, and others is building the canvassing operation and civic infrastructure to defeat both. Every volunteer, every donor, every voice matters.
