Most people want to make a difference but don't know where to start. The Activist Academy meets you where you are — whether you've never attended a rally or you've been organizing for decades. Our curriculum is built on 25 years of frontline civil rights work and designed to turn passion into lasting political power.
Take a 54-question quiz to uncover your activist archetype — one of 12 distinct profiles across four houses. Your results map to personalized learning paths so you build on your natural strengths while developing new capabilities.
A structured curriculum covering everything from the foundations of political power to advanced campaign strategy, communications, direct action, electoral organizing, and coalition governance. Four schools are live now, with nine more launching throughout 2026.
The Activist Academy is completely free — no paywalls, no subscriptions, no barriers. Civil rights education should be accessible to everyone, and we built this platform to prove it.
With hundreds of anti-LGBTQ+ bills flooding state legislatures and two ballot initiatives threatening Washington students, the need for skilled, strategic activists has never been greater. The Academy gives our movement the training infrastructure it deserves.
